Need help with build for a friend

Hi Tek Syndicate community, I am asking for opinions on a current revision of a build that I plan to build for a friend. The budget is $1000 and he wants a small case like the Bitfenix Prodigy. He has a OS (from a boot camped mac), and he also has a monitor.

Build on PCPartPicker:  http://pcpartpicker.com/p/hdbX3C

Low quality SSD.  Otherwise it looks pretty nice(although I still think the Bitfenix Prodigy is really big)

Here are some SSDs I'd recommend:

thx ill go tell my friend that im gonna change out the parts for his computer

I wouldnt recommend the Bitfenix Prodigy. The legs break since it's made of plastic rather than being reinforced. I would rather go for the Coolermaster Elite 130. It's well designed and you get more usb ports for how dirt cheap it is. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119286&cm_re=elite_130-_-11-119-286-_-Product For the SSD, go with what Some Tech Noob recommends.

+1 For elite 130

Go with a Samsung 840EVO. Samsungs "Rapid Mode" makes it faster than other SSDs. I've tested my Samsung vs Patriot, OCZ, and Kingston drives that I've had and friends have had, and the Samsung was the winner every time with "Rapid Mode".

Never knew that was a thing.  Time to go install magician on my laptop.
