Need help with a SFX PSU problem

Hello Everyone, I am currently going to be upgrading soon to a new case. I want a FT03 mini and I plan to mod the crap out of it to fit my current specs and my upgrades (like a new itx board and CPU).

The problem is im looking at the silverstone sfx PSU that is 450w and I have a r9 290x that is definitely not enough to power it and my cpu and other stuff as well.

I have found Athena Power's SFX PSU, but they do not match dimensions with silverstone's sfx PSU. I just need help clarifying that this PSU is compatible with the case(CASE : http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=333).

Athena Power 600w SFX PSU: 5" x 2.5" x 5.12"

Silverstone 450w PSU: 4.92" x 2.5" x 3.94"

Thanks,

Mike

the athena power is just a bit longer.

so in this pic, that PSU will just get a little close to the video card you see in the pc. So that PSU is 80 plus certified but not bronze so i duno if it will start a fire or not.

Alright i think i could manage that. Thank you very much !

probably want to look at another PSU

ouch, maybe i should look into finding a different PSU, only problem is that silverstone PSU is the only other highest SFX PSU on the market.

maybe look for another case that can handle an ATX PSU.

Yeah, sadly there are limits to sfx power supplies.
