Ok so i just got a new 128GB SSD in my computer and i want to use it to boot the OS and games.
Ive heard the easiest way to do this is to reinstall windows from scratch on the SSD.
now theres NOTHING on the hard drive i care to keep but unfortunately i dont know how to remove windows and all the data stored on it. (setting it back to factory default)
i have a windows 7 install DVD. all the answers i found online have been for either completely destroying the HD (to completely hide all stored data) or to set windows itself back to factory settings...well one involved the use of a floppy disk (seriously who even has those still)
so i was wondering if anybody would be kind enough to help me with my little dilema. or if its easier/better to just make a copy of the disk onto the SSD (theres like MAYBE 40GBs of data being used OS included) then whats the best way to go about that. thanks all in advanced.
