Need help repairing MBR

So I had a Linux distro dual booted with Win7, and after awhile I realized that I should just keep my desktop on windows since I only really game on it. So I deleted the Linux partition then booted from my install disc, then went to the repair option when I got a pop-up that said that this version of Win7 is not compatible. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Or is there another tool I can use?

TestDisk on linux (google for distro with it, and then run it)

Will this help fix the MBR? Or is it just data recovery?

TestDisk will do it all and more.

So I would use the MBR Code option?

yeah its nice, it gives you options on what to do. It may look ancient, but it does the job better than anyone.

Problem fixed! Thank you sir!
