Need help picking parts for LAN pc

I'm gonna build a new pc soon and need some help chosing some parts.
I already have some parts but not all. The parts that I still need are a CPU, Motherboard, Ram, SSD and case. My budget is €450~475

the parts that I already have:
-GPU: Sapphire HD 6970
-PSU: OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W psu
-HDD: 3TB HDD
(-LG 25UM65 monitor and CM storm octane mouse/keyboard)

Did some research myself and came up with this build:
-CPU: AMD FX-6300
-Motherboard: MSI 970 Gaming
-RAM: G.Skill RipjawsX 8GB 2133
-CPU cooler: Hyper 212Evo
-Case: CM Storm Scout 2
-SSD: HyperX Fury 120GB SSD

What do you guys think? :)

Thanks in advance :D

(sorry for bad english, Im Dutch)

  • I'd advise you not to use that psu for a new build, too old, old quad-rail 12v design. I just wouldnt risk it. Good to have as a spare and test psu, but thats it. Ideally you want >=550w, single 12v rail design and be from a trusted name - seasonic, xfx (seasonic units), nzxt, antec hcg's, some corsairs, superflower, thermaltronics and silverstone.
  • cpu & mb ~ what you've listed or the cheapest i5 + low - midrange motherboard (you wont need the aftermarket cooler either if you grab an i5)
  • high speed ram makes next to no difference, 1600mhz is fine and it'll be a lot cheaper. Still go with a good brand though - kingston, g skil, corsair.
  • ssd - if there's crucial (mx100,mx200 or bx), samsung or intel for the same or thereabouts price grab one of them over a fury. Ideally the samsung 850's is the way to go.
