Need help picking out a graphics card!

Hello, I'm looking to buy a new GPU for my recent PC build!

My Specs are: Core I5 4670K 16GB of DDR3 Ram Gigabye Z87X - D3H And I have a 750 watt seasonic PSU

This card will be used in a gaming rig and I have a $370 CAD budget. Currently I am looking at the R9 280, R9 280X and the GTX 770. I am mainly playing BF4 (amongst other games) and I want a card that will preform on at least High settings and hopefully ultra.

I also posted this on reddit Build a PC But I would like All the help I can get!

Any advice/recommendations would be helpful and thank you ahead of time!

My overclocked HD 7950/R9 280 runs it on ultra except for 2x MSAA between 70-90 fps. The 280 would be sufficient, but there would be a noticeable increase in performance with the 280x.

Awesome! Do you recommend any brands for the 280 or 280x? I'm really confused with all the warranties and features .etc and some recommendations would be wonderful!

Mine is a Sapphire. Asus is probably the best. MSI, while not my personal favorite, is pretty good. I'd say that HIS and Gigabyte are ok. I'd avoid Powercooler and XFX (at least it seems to me their quality has gone down, correct me if I'm wrong).

Personally, I would go for this MSI R9 280x. It's pretty cheap, and should perform quite well. http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-video-card-r9280xgaming3g

MSI, Asus or Sapphire it is! Thank you so much for the help! Do you know if the 280x is going to stay at this price point? because It seems like they are jumping wildly from almost $450 to $320-ish and then back up again.

The reason I am asking is because I wont be picking this card up till around the 15th of next month.

I can't really say. If you want you could just post again closer towards your date of purchase. Still, I doubt it would go up significantly; there were also other 280x's within your budget, just in case that one goes up a lot.

I've got the Sapphire HD 7950 Dual-X and it has been great.

I have also purchased a Sapphire HD 7850 1GB Dual-X.  Sapphire makes great cards.
