Need Help from someone smarter than me - Screwed something up

Ok, I honestly have no idea what has happened, but I have clearly made some kind of mistake in the last few days and now folders are just... strange.

It is hard to explain, but basically I have my ssd with my os and then a storage drive.

My problem is that for some reason my storage drive has 3 folders linking to it, but I can't delete any of them. I am not sure if this matters, but it is incredibly frustrating as I like keeping everything organised.

It appears like this:

  • This PC:
  • D:\
  • D:\
  • Desktop
  • Documents
  • Music
  • Videos
  • Local Disk (C:)
  • Storage (D:)

Storage being my hdd and Local disk my ssd.

The three folders, D:\ D:\ and Storage all have the same contents and if I delete from one it deletes from all 3. I am seriously perplexed.

All help will be greatly appreciated, need people with more tech smarts than me.

Right click each one of teh duplicate directories and look under properties to see if they are some kind of shortcut.

Also did you map them as network drives?

When I look at properties on the duplicates, it shows the same exact information as the original.

I did not do that intentionally, I would not know how.

So you just have multiple links within the navigation pane to the same source? And is this under the headings of Libraries, Computer or both?
