Need help finding the right PSU

Ok I am a noob at building computers as it has taken me over a year to finish my first/current build. I am almost done and just need to get a PSU and wait for the rest of the 480's to come out.

So looking in the prime day deals i found these two psu on sale and wanted to know if these are worth the price. These may be a little over kill for current build but I plan to upgrade to better cpu later on and like to future proof as much as I can. Saying that here is my build so far. http://pcpartpicker.com/list/3kQP3F

That's crazy overkill. Unless you're gonna do 4 way then that 750 should do the trick. It's a nice PSU and if you're okay with the price I can't fault you. Fully modular is so nice to build with.

Ok thanks have any input of a better deal for a psu. These are just two i found on prime day and just wanted to know if the deal beats going for something smaller.

you haven listed the CPU or anything other then the 480. Guessing you going for an overclocked 480. And if you are going the two gpu draw would be 400w so 500 would be enough. 550 - 650 is where you should be looking. I recommend going modular. I made the mistake of not doing that. But now have a 1200w FSP fully modular.

Sorry, the build so far is in the link to pcpartpicker but here

CPU: AMD FX-8350
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 evo
MoBo: MSI 970 gaming
RAM: HyperX 2X8GB 1866
SSD: Intel 540s 240 GB
HDD: Likely to be seagate barracuda 2 TB
GPU: Just one 480 for now
CASE: Corsair Air 540

I am just looking for the best bang for the buck. Now I know the AMD cpu's are a bit outdated that's why I plan to upgrade within a year hopefully when I get a better job. So maybe then I could look at doing crossfire or sli but I hear that right now it's not worth it. I could get by with a lower PSU if it's a better deal.

I disagree. I think the 750 is a good spot assuming two RX 480s. I have two R9 290Xs and a 9590 and I hit 900W.

If you're up for rebates this is the same price as the 750.

Most of these have rebates on them if you're interested. Even if you're not they are all less than $90.

Note on the Rosewill: I have no issue recommending a Rosewill to anyone who is looking for a PSU. I used a 1000W one in my first PC from over 3 years ago and I'm still using it. I never turn my PC off, so it has been running for over a 2 years non stop. For a while I was bitcoin mining pulling over 900W continually and I've never had an issue. Eventually my neighbor gave me a used 1200W and I switched my main rig to that. My Rosewill is now in the PC I made for my younger brothers and is still running 4-6 hours a day. The only problem I've ever had with it is that it's been running so long now that the fan is starting to wear out and doesn't spin as well as it should. 10/10 would recommend them.

Yea I was looking at those EVGA's and almost went with one but I really didn't feel like dealing with a mail in rebate. So i just went with the RM750i it's a bit of a overkill but last time I bought something with mail in rebates I completely forgot to do them. But thanks for the help guys. Just got to wait and save up for one of the aftermarket 480's and can't wait for some of the reviews for these. Well thanks for the help.

No problem. I think the 750 is actually perfect for what you're going to be running and will give you the head room for another card in the future. As I said,

If you can afford a Seasonic or see one on sale get it OP. Also I highly recommend Antec.
