Need help, dont know what to title this!

Okay let me try to explain this the best i can. i reasently added a ssd to my system as a boot drive. the thing is my old 1TB HDD had alot of stuff on it including a about 600GB steam folder that i couldnt move over. so instead i made a freash install on the ssd and made it my default boot drive and just linked my new install of steam on my ssd to the one on my hdd with no issues. the problem is My system will sometimes try to boot from my hdd. i have already gone and deleted windows off it using CMD. but it still reads the hdd as an boot drive sometimes. Now to my question and what i need help with. is there i was other then reformating to fix this. the reason it is causeing me problems is it will try to boot from the hhd which currently doesnt actually have windows installed on it because i menually unistalled it. Any help would be much appreceated. thanks. :)

Have you gone into the bios and made the ssd first boot priority?

Yes i have it try to boot like i have multi windows installed

Is your HDD showing up as 2 logical drives? (One should say "System Reserved")

Im not sure. i do have to system reserves the thing is im not sure which is which or if one is even from my hhd i know one is from my ssd the other actually didnt appear until later on.

Alright i figured it out. yes my hhd is showing up as two locical drives one of which is the system reserved which i know which on it is. what should i do?

I only had one partition on the old drive other then the system recovery partition. My main partition where windows was installed was also where all my other stuff was at so if i delete it wont it delete all 600GB of my steam games?

The easiest way then would be to copy over everything you want to keep and repartion/format said drive. Did you just continue clicking next through the installation on it or did it come with the OS already installed on it? Either way this is the easier option.

No i installed the os on it i just didnt feel doing a seperate partition for the os on it. yeah i know its the easier way but because my steam folder is so big i dont have another hhd or anthing thats not already full that can hold it. i just dont feel like reinstalling all my games and redoing my settings and all that crap.
