Need Help builing next PC

Looking for components/ pricing on best pc for $2000 Canadian just for tower. I game alot, prefer high fps and max out.Really like to stream so and trying do YouTube so need be able edit and such. I want it look amazing easy to add new componets as my current pc case sucks for the. and i prefer intel and nvida as i have amd right now and they run hotter and power consumption sucks as well. If people could help that be cool.

Current pc is CM STROMTROOPER CASE

AMD FX 8350 4.21GHz

-16GB ram -

Sapphire 7950

-Seagate 500gb HD -Westerdigital1tb

-ASUS Crosshair V FormulaZ

What I would do:

  • keep mb, cpu, ram - if you spend some time tuning the oc so you get low voltage and still maintain a decent oc you'll see lower power consumption.
  • buy a high end cpu cooler - 240 AIO or custom loop (you have plenty of room)
  • sell the 7950 and grab a gtx970 or 2 for sli goodness
  • add big ass ssd
  • spend remaining on upgrading/adding nice ips monitors

Yeah I cant honestly suggest going to the expense of a new platform. Here is a list for a complete new rig anyway >

Future upgrade  ... maybe a second GPU if you feel the need

and yes I know the PSU is a bit overkill ... scale it back if you want

XFX 650W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply .......  should be plenty even if you add an other GPU and more drives in the future

i saw both but would reccomend for my parts and i got h100i could get better fans i guess

so u guys suggest 2 970 asus graphic cards, and some better fans. whats the best full tower case with cable management and whats a good modular psu? and where can i buy pre wrapped cables?  And thank you buy the way for helping me guys

An ATX mid tower will fit two GTX 970s just fine.

Consider a Define R4 or NZXT H440.  Other cases are available at lower budgets.

Get some cable extensions if you want nice braiding and don't want to deal with custom sleeving.  Some power supply manufacturers do have sleeved cable kits for their modular units, but be sure to not mix and match cables with modular power supplies.

Anything from XFX, Seasonic, Corsair, and EVGA(minus their cheap 80+ units and their NEX line) will be fine.

actually I would recommend a GTX 980 and see if that will do for you ... it will play almost any game on ultra at 1080p and do very well at 1440p  ... dual GPUs are not in your current budget

as far a a PSU goes stick to either a Seasonic or Corsair or XFX these are best in overall build quality IMO

and stick to having at least 20% overhead more wattage available than system usage

as far as cases go ... it is mostly personal preference ... I prefer mid towers that have sound dampening and good dust filtration ... that probably comes from sitting next to a full tower HAF932 and having to listen to the noisy fans for the last four years.

okay if guys/girls can make me a pc tower 2000 that destroys games and the case easy to upgrade and has great cooling extra i like fractal r4 but never used it but i want your guys opinions. then i 3 monitors 1080p at least higher res be awesome and best mechanical keyboard and mouse. for 1000 so thats total 3000 budget u can use like 2500 tower extra but i would like a gtx 970 or 2 or 980 and be able sli future and then 16gb ram. then  ill pick best one and ill try save up for it lols ty :D for the help this site is awesome.

this is about what $3000 CND will get you

all you need is a good set of headphones

looks good but never seen that monitor brand before and wouldnt be better just get 2tbhdd and 2 120 ssd?

the larger you go with hard drives the higher the failure rate ... if you set the three drives up in a raid configuration you will have redundancy and a speed increase. The AOC monitors are 1080p IPS backlight LEDs with very thin bezels you would hardly see them in surround. They are not the best out there but they are not junk either. They fit your budget requirements.

You can get a much better 27 inch 1440p monitor for what the three of these cost.

I have personally never seen one ... but this is supposed to be one of the best gaming monitors ... about $900CND    ...  I believe Logan will be doing a review soon.

Just read up on some 970 sli reviews. Crazy performance for f' all power usage.

You've already got a good case for uber tidy cable management. BTW one can make any cases cable situation tidy. Only laziness holds back tidy cables in any rig.

As for pre-sleeved cables - there are complete sleeved kits that suit Corsair units (overpriced imho), or there is the cheaper Bitfenix Alchemy range - ive used since they were released. Cheap, great quality and a shite load of colours to choose from.

Sleeving you own cables isnt as hard as you think. Works out to be very cheap and you can make the cables the perfect length.

As mentioned - good psu's - xfx, seasonic, superflower, antec hcg's, high end coolermasters. It comes down to what the oem unit is. eg xfx use seasonic units.
