Ok so im selling my PC copy of BFBC2, and the guy asked me "is the cd key used"
I said yes, then i was thinking WTF does he mean!!!
Now apparently the online ability is stuck with the PC that u installed and played online with!!!
Now i jsut want to know if i am able to sell the game and the guy is able to play online and offline.
I have googled this but have failed to find an answer to my question!
I think you'll have to ask EA about deactivating the key.
wait you serious... you sure he knows what he is talking about. because if that is the case i dont get how this restrictive of a move by ea would go more or less unmentioned. i mean pc gamers upgrade and reinstall windows quite often. it seems like something that would piss people off even if you can just contact ea and get it disabled.
yes you can sell it to him because if you look when you install it it gives you a option to install to play without the dvd or to install and use the dvd to play.Also you can use it up to 10 times on different PC's.
When you uninstall, you can "de-verify" the game from your pc.
It can be used quite a few times anyways.
