Need help asap!

I bought an r9 390x that was supposed to be new. The box came sealed and everything but when i opened up the box this is what i saw the card in.

Also the install disc came like this wich is very odd to me to be just a blank looking disc.

and the card seems to have a backplate on it.

i use gpuz to see what i have and im worried cause it doesn't say 390x

Should i be worried? Should i return it? what should i do? it seems to be working fine right now tho. PLEASE HELP ME!

Why don't you see what the crimson drivers tell you about it?

Did you pay 390x prices or 390 prices for it? if 390s prices and the card is working fine, well just keep it

I payed 390x prices arround $440. this is what the catalyst software says.

2816 shader cores is the amount an R9 390X has, everything seems to be in order.

The first picture seems to be an anti-static bag?

Either way, if you don't want it, I'll have it. The GPU, not the static bag, of course. :)

lol yea it is a static bag. its just weird cause i have watched an unboxing video and the card is not supposed to have a backplate. and the bag is supposed to be silver and sealed. im just hoping that i got what i paid for is all.

well run some benchmarks and see if you're getting 390x speeds, probably just got a different 390x from the same company or they've changed their packaging, how old was the unboxing?

also try speccy

This is what i get in firestrike

Seems right, probably just a minor bios/firmware issue or something

Curious as to why yours says and r9 390x and mine says genaric VGA. Do you have a full copy of fire strike or just the free one?

That was from a google search

Looks fine to me
