need some feedback imediately the 7950 is 300$ on newweg with a 20$ mail-in-rebate and a free game card with 3 AAA titles and a 20% off coupon planning on building a new pc soon so im wondering if i should pick this up

Looks like a good deal to me. Grab it unless you were planning to get a more powerful video card.
Grab it before the stocks dwindle or the promo ends! Or do as Vortex says. Or if you can fit a 7970 in your budget, then don't. But really, a 7950 flies
The games offer go into next year, but the 20 dollar mail in rebate goes to 11/15. I'd say go for it, I just bought the sapphire 7970 for the same reason. Agreed though, that 7950 will serve well.
