hi, i am thinking of buying some new speakers for my desktop pc, right now i am only using headphones and i want some speakers mainly for hearing music and movies, and something that looks good on my desk,
Right now i am looking at these from audyssey: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Audyssey-Lower-East-Side-Media-Speaker-/251237402277?pt=Other_MP3_Player_Accessories&hash=item3a7eea86a5
or these from logitech: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-2-1-Speaker-System-Z623/dp/B00413BI7Q/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=34UB8ESP4IKOX&coliid=I3VCEACBA3FNL9
these are kinda expensive though, i did not want to pay more than 150$
So, any sugestions? do you guys thing these ones are good?
I've heard these are supposed to be really nice: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Harman-Kardon-Soundsticks-Channel-Multimedia/dp/B003ZXDOMA/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1362521259&sr=8-5
Harman Kardon is an audio company. All they do is make speakers and receivers, so they should definitely be better than those logitech speakers. I actually almost bought those HK speakers until I realized I could use a receiver with my computer and get some nice bookshelf speakers.
i really dont like the design of those xD, its strange because i see a lot of people on forums saying that they really love the design and sound. Im just weird i guess...
The bose companion 2 series 2 is about 100-120 dollars. Might even find them less than that on sale they we're on sale on newegg for like 80 bucks. I have those speakers on my workstation pc and they are the cats meow. They will take in two sources at the same time with 2 red and white pairs
Klipsch probably makes the best speakers on the market, but again, that's over budget.
This JBL system might be nice though: http://www.amazon.com/JBL-Creature-III-Self-Powered-Multimedia/dp/B002TLSTGA/ref=sr_1_16?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1362525568&sr=1-16&keywords=bose+companion+3
