Need an opinion on this router (Netgear WNDR 3700)

So I have been eyeing this router for some time because in my last research about six months ago it got good reviews and surpased the Linksys e3000. I'll post the link later as I'm running short on time. Here is the router:

I'm looking forward to the NAS (or whatever it is called in this case) and I will use it for gaming. I'll also be using the DMZ for one of my computers as I plan on building a server complete with Debian and all.

The thing is since my research is rather old right now I want to know if it's worth the $150 it's selling for at wallmart. I would like to know if there's something better than that for the same price or up to $200 before spending. Thanks a lot, guys.

This is the review I had read back then. Anyone has any advice? Anyone knows where Qain is? O_o

damn, really wish I could help you seeing as you've been waiting all day...but not exactly my area of expertise.

have u tried getting on IRC and asking for advice?

in my opinion, a wrt54g with dd-wrt will be sufficient for any home or small office use, and it will have way more control than any router with a default firmware.

if you don't want an old router.... just make sure to get one that dd-wrt supports.

I am a Linksys fan my self. Never had a hardware or software problem with the WRT54 series. Currently I have a WRT54gl.

I'm actually looking forward to upgrade my wrt54GS with something that has a g signal, media server and NAS functionality.
