Need Alot of help for my Budget Build!

I need help building  a budget build for school and light gaming (Battlefield 3, Crysis 2, Black Ops2, Syrim)

I will be reusing parts such as Windows 7, My Optical Drive, and my HDD.

This is the configuration i Came up with:

I need some feedback on the setup.

AMD 965 with a 7850, 2 x 4Gb of 1600MHz RAM, NZXT Source 210 case or Gamma, and maybe a bit more on a PSU.

A PSU is nothing to skimp out on mann. It goes, your whole computer won't work, and a few parts might get fucked along with it.

Nice budget build mate. However, the 6100 is not gonna be the best use of your money. Purchase the 4300. It clocks higher and your gaming needs only require 4 cores. If its budget go micro ATX and spen the leftover on more RAM and maybe a 2gb GPU.

Corsair makes great PSU and the 430w is currently on sale and its overkill for my build lol. Also you mentioned the Amd 965, is it better than the fx 6100 there both $90 now.

This is just my opinion so please take it for what it is. Myself, I would look at the FX 6300 processor. Even Logan recommends this CPU and it is the one I put in my last AMD build. Your power supply should be a little more powerful as having more is better than just enough when it comes to power. I would honestly go to 550 or 600 as this allows for a little expansion later and keep it minimum bronze. This is a handy site for seeing how much you need as far as a power supply goes.

I see your budget is around $350.00 so I’d check out Logan’s video on his $350.00 build as it will give you some great tips on what to look for.

Hope this has been of some help and which ever way you go, have fun and enjoy your build.

My suggested Psu wattage was 301. I even added other parts to the list incase i ever felt like upgrading and it was 366. P.S. i would go with Logans setup but i rather having a dedicated GPU as it performs much better.

Your suggested wattage is lower than your minimum wattage. Look at that on the cpu and gpu.
