Need Advice on Gaming Build

I don't know if I'm posting this in the right place or not, I'm new so please don't troll

I'm doing a build that I have been saving up money, I'm am going to also for components as christmas gifts (haven't yet asked for any components but I will ask soon) and etc. And I was wondering if I should switch out any of the parts for other one this looks like it's good build to me but I think I might need some advice from the experts.

(I have built a computer once before)

only thing i would do is buying another mobo like the Asrock extreme 4= -65$ and put that money in a 7970 xfx 3gb 925mhz. But thats with the prices my retailer has.

switch the RAM out for some corsair vengeance, remove win7 since you don't really have to pay for it, and with the money you saved by doing that get a better GPU and maybe a decent cpu cooler like the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus

I agree with Linus, no need for you to spend that much on the motherboard. If you want the absolute best for the performance, the MB doesnt make any significant difference.

The ram is good, but you could save a little on them if you get a 2 x 4 corsair kit as Cru3L139 suggested. and corsair is deff a good reliable company too! (btw you should be aware that the red line ram you have linked to are 1,65 volts..)

save some on motherboard and memory and put it into a GPU instead, maybe you will be able to get a 7970 or GTX670/680

Oh no I already got the parts (I had to ask for my x-mas gifts before i went to my dad's house because my mom ordered all the parts that I asked for and I ordered it last friday i posted last wednesday or thursday) what should I do about the RAM (do I Return it?) I looked at the 1200$ gaming build video from Logan and I forgot he was still using sandy bridge when he recommended the redline RAM ( I should have asked for a bit more time )

linus are you linus like from lunis tech tips and ncix

No sorry :)

you can cancel the order
