[Need advice] Building a PC

Hi! I need some advice as I am trying to choose some parts to build a new gaming computer to replace my existing one which is 4 years old, which my friend helped me with previously. I have watched some of the videos by TekSyndicate on youtube but I am still not too confident on the parts to get as this is my first time.

Intent : to build a gaming computer that can probably last around 3-4 years for most mainstream titles, may want to try streaming as I am gaming too~

The parts I have selected so far can be seen at:

Please bear in mind that some of the parts were chosen as I was available to find them in pricelists in some of the stores in Singapore. Also, the stock cpu cooler, DVD drive, monitor, keyboard, mouse are not in as I intend to reuse my existing ones.

I also have not chosen a casing yet but for now I am considering http://www.sharkoon.com/?q=en/content/t28 . I would need to check the other options available locally again later.

Please let me know your suggestions/opinions on the parts I have currently shortlisted! Would love to hear from you guys on the above!! Do let me know if you noticed I left something out, have tried to make sure I don't miss out anything.

Thanks in advance for taking the time to read through this.

Looks rather nice indeed.
Possible thingys:
-Add another 8GB of RAM
-You can get a nice air cooler for about £25 (Hyper 212 Evo or something) although if you're getting a windowed case maybe try something a bit nicer looking like the all black deepcool one which I can never remember the name of.

Thats what I meant ll.
It's featured in Kyle's air vs water cooling video if that helps.

Dont bother with the sharkoon case i have worked with a cuple of them thay lack space behind the motherboard tray for cable management the steel thay are made from is thin and sharp on the edge's and the fans are loud, squeak and rattle around and there not that cheap ether considering how cheap thay feel.

Very beasty parts list, only thing perhaps is make sure you get a good cooler and case with adequate airflow for the climate you're in. If you get that skarkoon case be sure to upgrade the front and rear fans to perhaps noctua's, or the like.
Maybe even step up the psu to the 750w model if its not too much more as well. Not that that unit wont cope, its just so it will be under less load ~ lower temps and if its around the 50% load mark it will be near on silent.
Best of luck.

should he get something better like a corsair case or a fractal Define series case? or go full out with say a phanteks case?

You can pick up define r4s for dirt cheap now and they are still an excellent case.

Haha oops I'm not a guy lololol.

Really thank you for the good suggestions!! I'm geading down to the store so I'll ask for the actual pricing and try to beef up the ram and psu probably. Will check out the cases in person before deciding on the more fans or other designs. Seems like sharkoon aint that good but I'll see what options are at the store ;)

Hey guys! Thank you so much for the responses previously. I ended up getting the following items: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/AgentPrettyHair/saved/GM2MnQ

So far everything seems good and is a great upgrade from my old computer! Currently running on Windows 10 too! I guess the next thing to change (not a priority yet) is my monitor, as I am experiencing a bit of screen tearing and could use a monitor with a higher refresh rate XD

Oh and, I have my pc in my bedroom with air con on most of the time so the temperature for now seems good.

Once again, thank you very much!

That's pretty much the best you're going to get

You could however lower the GPU to something less crazy like a 980 or Fury and potentially go X99, but that's really not needed for gaming.
