Need a new screen ($200 - $250 budget)

ok, so im looking for a new moniter... 20 or 22 inch (wide screen) and 1080p.

thinking of the asus VH226H. ($170 - $150 after rebate)

any suggestions???

Why would you say it needs to be a good screen resolution when you specified which resolution you want?

because i enjoy redundancy.... just to confuse ppl like u.....
and also because i was looking up the screen i was thinking of getting, so while i was doing that i forgot i specified 1080...

check techbargains.com for that, dell usually has some good deals. like 23 inch 1080p for $150

Edit: the dell deal expired but will probably come back within next few weeks if your willing to wait and save some money.

i own the vh226h, it's a decent monitor for the price. speakers are pretty much crap in my opinion, but you don't really buy a monitor for the speakers. theres also some backlight bleeding, but it doesn't really bother me that much.

i'd go with the samsung if you're willing to spend a little more money.

also, never let speakers influence your decision, monitor speakers are always shit quality, dont think youre getting a better deal based on that.

its because its 22" which means its usually 1680x1050 not 1920x1080, 1680x1050 isnt 1080p
