So I just went out and bought a Mionix Naos 8200. It's an amazing mouse, and it was exactly what I was looking for to replace my Logitech G9X.
Now I just need to get a proper mouse pad. I have an old cloth pad that I bought years ago, but I really want a gaming grade mouse pad that is going to work the best with my mouse. I would prefer a hard pad with a textured surface, so I've been trying to decide between either the Mionix Propus 380 or the Razer Destructor 2.
Anyone know which would be more accurate for tracking with this mouse? Does anyone have any other suggestions?
I use the SteelSeries QcK Mass Mouse pad for my Razer Deathadder 2013. It's an amazing pad (yes mousepads can be amazing). It's a got a nice smooth surface, it's very comfortable to rest your arm on, and the pad is very thick (hence the mass) so you can even use it on rough surfaces and still have a smooth place for your mouse. Also, it's huge, so you'll have lots of breathing room :)

I have had the original destructor for ages.I will be seriously disappointed if I ever have to replace it. I dont have any complaints. From my understanding the destructor 2 is just larger and a bit smoother.
I cant speak for the mionix as I havent bought a mouse pad since getting this one years ago. It looks like a good pad though it is nearly twice as thick.
Does thickness really make that much of a difference?
I will always recommend the Func 1030. Best mouse pad I have ever used.
Does it have a hard, textured surface?
Well its the difference between 2.3 and 4 mm so probably not at all.
I just went ahead and grabbed the Propus 380. It turns out the Fry's Electronics near my house had one, and I would assume Mionix probably know how their sensors work better than Razer or any other company. I do really like it too. It has just enough resistance to it, and the rubber on the bottom makes it stay put. Not to mention, I've never had a mouse pad this large before. It's a nice size and gives me some wiggle room when I need it, but it's not overly large like I thought it might be. I doesn't feel cheap like the other hard mats I've played around with before on other peoples' PCs.
