Need a new Keyboard and don't know what to ge

Okay so my G15 v1 that I had for little over 6years has died on me and I am now looking for a new keyboard. Some of the things I want and will go in most needed are

1.It has to be fully Mechanical.

2.I really love my backlit keys LED color doesn't matter.

3.I want to have macro keys.

4.Needs to be able to take a hardcore beating to it.

5.Price does not matter one bit.

6.I want it to last for years to come.

So if anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated.

Quite not alot of keyboards that are both mechanical and backlit but this is the best I can find so far

This is what I have and it would definitely fit all of your requirements:

You can choose which color back light you want (either blue, white, green, or red) and between either Cherry MX-Black or MX-Clear switches. It's a great keyboard with very good build quality. It's probably the heaviest keyboard I've ever owned because the build quality is so good and sturdy. I'm willing to bet that there's a pretty hefty steel plate holding it all together.

What do people mean by mechanical?

Okay well I'm more intrigue to know more about the Deck keyboard cause the Razer Blackwidow was one I was looking at instill I saw all of the not so good reviews and I didn't see may good ones for it also. Like it seemed that everyone had some kind of issue with it. I'm trying to stay as far from getting a keyboard with issues. So Vortex how have you been liking the Deck keyboards? Also does it hold up to taking bad abuse to it like do you think it will hold up for 5+years using it non stop cause I find myself on my PC all the time doing work, surfing the web, gaming, ect? It seems as if I live on my computer.

Okay well this website will explain it alot better then what I can http://ergocanada.com/ergo/keyboards/mechanical_vs_membrane_keyswitches.html

Lol? I've had my Blackwidow Ultimate for over a year and I've beaten the shit out of it. Not one single problem

Also, not sure what reviews you're reading. I see over 80% of the reviews being 4/5 or 5/5 Eggs

logitech g510 its awsome

its not 'fully' mechanical.... i believe the macro switches are still membrane, but don't quote me on that.

No like most people had an issue with one of the LED's going out having to RMA it but they love the keyboard but I'm not one that looks at just the eggs I look at the pro's and con's that people write about, but I am looking at the Blackwidow Ultimate just don't know if I want to risk having to RMA it cause I had the Naga loved it with all my heart but it was laid to rest 3 times after the 3rd time my warranty was up so I couldn't RMA it and having to pay for shipping to send back is something I don't like having to do cause after a while if you keep having to RMA something it comes to being the price of the product it self.

I been wanting to try a mechanical keyboard for a while even tho I loved my G15 and even tho the G510 is just like it about I still want to try a mechanical keyboard

they are not necessarily nicer to game on, but exponentially better for typing.

I am currently using the Black Widow Ultimate and it is an amazing keyboard. It's even clickier than that Corsair... but I tried the Corsair out at GeForce Lan and it was freaking amazing.

Okay so out of the two the Razer Black Widow Ultimate and the Corsair Vengeance K90 which one would you guys recommend?

I was also looking at the Blackwidow Ultimate, but I ultimately got the Deck instead because there seemed to be a common problem with the Blackwidow where the space and alt key would stick together and be pressed at the same time, and I really didn't want my keyboard to do that.

But to answer your question, I haven't beat on this keyboard all that much. I treat it very nicely because I love it, lol. From just holding it, you can tell it has exceptional build quality though. It's very durable and pretty heavy too. It just has a very very solid construction. It could probably go to hell and back and still be in good shape.

Backlit mech kb, full sized w/ tenkey you say?

Ducky Shine (aka Ducky Shining)

-comes in blue, black, brown, or red switches

-leds come in blue, white, green, red, purple

Check out Qtan's website (huge list of mech kbs and keycaps). I've purchased from him several times. He is an awesome seller and nearly everyone on Geekhack has used this guy with great success. Only thing is you should get express shipping, not standard shipping as the item usually ships out of Hong Kong. Express shipping and you will have the keyboard in hand within a week of ordering. Contact Qtan before you order from his store...I know his is currently out of stock of the Ducky Shine, KBT Race, and a couple PBT keycaps.

That's actually the smaller version of their keyboard. They have normal full sized ones with number pads too. That picture is the Deck 82. I actually have the Deck 105, which is the larger version.

I can't seem to find the deck keyboards stocked anywhere outside the US. Shame, because it looks fantastic.

@vortex, i know. it looks pretty neat the deck 82

@boov, there should be some listed on ebay

Lol, I love that video^

Here's another review. He does get a couple of small details wrong though when it comes to the back light colors and cherry switches, but other than that it's a pretty good review:
