I live in arizona in a very dusty home, I seem to go through fans all the time. No matter how often I blow them out or try clean the filters it gets a lot of dust in. Eventually they die, I am tired of not being able to run things solo because of overheating issues. I cannot play civ 5 without it hitting over 80c. Any ideas for a decently priced setup for what I have listed as my pc specs in my profile. Any tips for keeping dust out?
which case do you have ? then?
Maybe a NZXT phantom 530 is a good case for you, you have alot of airflow options, and it has dust filters, in front and bottom. you can add alot of fans or even radiators in that case.
I like the Fractal Design Arc Midi R2. I have it and I'm very happy. I have it going almost 24/7 in a carpeted basement and there is absolutely no dust at all in it. The dust filters on it are awesome. Any other computer down here is dusty as shit but mine is 100% dust free.
It is an Antec 900, butg it is old and recently was dropped and cracked.
The corsair 750D has nice filters to keep the dust out.....ultamtely you are still going to get dust in a pc in a dusty environment you just got to keep on top of pulling the filters out and cleaning them regualy.
^^^ i have a haf xb anarekist it dosent keep anything out lol i have to clean it out every 4 weeks...keeps all my parts cool tho.
