i have a pair of $100 sony stero headphones. I want to start gaming with my friends on my pc. I am the only one without a mic and they wont let me forget it '_'
So i was going to buy a mic so i can talk to them. i also want to be doing some vocall recording with it. I dont want to break the bank on this on, so i would prefer to get around a $60 mic. any suggestions and questions are always welcome. thank you for your time and consideration.
audio technica atr2100 I would say is as good as it gets for about $40 that is what I personally use and it has very good sound quality and a stand for your desk. It uses usb too.

I'd probably look around on ebay for the podcasting kit or one with a few accessories for around your budget rather than buying new.
I use a Samson Go mic for skype and such. I've been told it's really clear but I've never recorded with it so I can't comment on how it would hold up for that.
