Need a grippy material like the underside of mousepad

I have a foldable keyboard for my tablet, but I have this issue were if I press too hard on 1 side, it lifts the other side up making it harder to use.

Plus it has poor traction to tables so it likes to slide around.

I need a sheet of the same material used in the bottoms of mousepads or something with the similar amount of grip on surfaces. It needs to be .25" thick for it to work.

Anyone have any ideas or links of what im looking for?

They keyboard im using for my tablet is this

There was something like that listed in this video

Why not buy a @TekSyndicate mouse pad and cut it up?

Mouse pads are made from Neoprene. Should be easy to find.

You could also just get plastidip from walmart for like 5 bucks.

Just layer it on until it does the job.

Cut some slits so the thing still folds and viola. No slip keyboard.

Sugru is amazing, silly putty that sets to a hard grippy rubber. When the rubber feet fell off my laptop and I replaced them with Sugru. Duct Tape, WD40 and now Sugru are on the list of must have "fix all" things to have in your tool box.

That would take a ton of plasti dip and I doubt its grippy enough.

I thought about getting a mouse pad, but it needs to be thick enough so that it touches the table and not just the spots where it folds.

Ya the suction cup stuff. but its too thin, and would require me to often clean it which is something I dont want to have to do.

How well does it stay onto smooth flat metal surfaces?

My laptop is an first gen ultrabook with an aluminum casting. There is little to no texture to it. The Sugru pads I put on have been in place for a few years now.

Shelf/drawer liner?

It's pretty grippy and rather cheap. Should be able to find it at just about any hardware or home improvement store.

I am not gonna to be annoying and convince you to use it for this project.

However, you should really experiment with it at some point. I think you would be really surprised just how versatile it is.

This stuff is also really nice.

Problem is it looks like absolute shit. But if you do not care about looks, it is probably better than the mouse pad idea.
