NDS Emulator for OS X?

I need an NDS emulator that will run Pokemon games. I have DeSmuME but when I load up the ROM, the screen stays a blank whitish-gray. I can hear the sounds, but nothing shows up. The games I want to play on it are:

  • Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver
  • Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum
  • Pokemon Black/White/Black2/White2

Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions.

Also, any suggestions for a GBA Emulator for the Gen 3 Pokemon games?

Me? Yes. Not an apple fanboy. I have to use a Macbook Pro for my school stuff, and since it's my main computer now I just want to play my emulators and Pokemon games. I just need a DS emulator. DeSmuME works on Windows with the same ROMs, but it doesn't work on OS X (10.8.2)

probably u can use bootcamp on a macbook because most ds emulator run on windows. what is your macbook specs?

I have used bootcamp, but it's not worth the 40GB of space just to install Windows for my less than 2 GB of ROMs and Emulators. It's the Macbook Pro 9,1.

they are good enough to run these emulation, idk maybe parallel, its another version of bootcamp but i don't know how parallel works.

i mean your macbook is very good enough to run the ds emulation, but here check up on http://www.parallels.com/ because i don't think anyone has made ds emulation that is compatible for mac.

No, DeSmuME has a mac version. But it doesn't work with the Pokemon games. Someone put NO$GBA in a Mac wrapper, but it only works up to when you are able to play.

Edit:

Maybe I should get Parallels and VMware. Run Parallels with Windows 7 then run VMware with Windows XP inside W7 and run my DS Emu inside the emu of my emu.

@bassfire could you link me to a place where i can get the latest nds roms for pokemon please, as i use NO$GBA, would be greatly apreciated
