Nautilus will not launch

Hey guys, I have a kind of weird issue that I could use some help with.

I am running opensuse tumbleweed and every time I update my system, nautilus will not launch.

Here is the output.

tjj226@linux:~> nautilus
nautilus: symbol lookup error: nautilus: undefined symbol: g_simple_action_set_state_hint
tjj226@linux:~>

The weird thing to me is it always happens after a simple update. If I use the snapshot isos of the latest tumbleweed build, nautilus runs perfectly fine with no problem.

As soon as I update, boom. No nautilus.

Normally I just install nemo, and call it a day, but I would like to figure out what is going on if at all possible.

Seems like an already discovered bug. See if this helps.

My experience is that tumbleweed is very unstable and updates can cause a lot of problems (but you should probably expect that with a rolling release).

Alright, I have a heading.

It seems like the issue is actually the fact that opensuse tumbleweed actually has the wrong repo for gnome by default.

So the reason it keeps breaking is because gnome itself never gets updated without the proper repo.

I added GNOME:Factory and am in the middle of updating my system.

I will post back to see if it fixed the issue.

That's weird. If it does not work, you could try this: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1516503#p1516503

yeup, works fine now.
