I am having this issue where after a GPO namespace change for folder redirection, a few users will have their network files deleted by windows.
I am not sure why this is happening but it’s gotta stop.
The File and AD servers are windows server 2012 R2 Standard
we are using folder redirection as opposed to roaming profiles.
Of the clients I checked, the CSC folder of these computers windows has deleted the user’s user folder from the old location and there is nothing in the new namespace.
We have a mix of windows 10 EDU and ENT OS’s for the clients. It doesn’t appear to make a difference.
