hi everyone i recently got the gigabyte mz32 ar0 i miss that it use slimline SAS cable for the sata port and i don’t have them right know i ordered them but it will be while before i get them ,
so the issue is i have a couple of pcie to sata nvme to sata adapter i tried them but none of them detected the boot drive in the bios i couldn’t boot to the drive or see the drive in the boot section of bios i even used an LSI 9400 HBA it has been detected in the bios shows the two drive inside the HBA setting but again i couldn’t see them in the boot section of the bios or even boot from them
anyone now how to fix it is there any setting in the bios could fix that i have the lates bios installed

sounds like you are trying to use an existing installation on those drives?
You will need to boot those drives on another machine, install the drivers for the new build, reinstall in the new build, and manually add the boot path through the UEFI.

try ‘add boot device’ and see if you can navigate to the drive through the HBA
