I have been an avid pc gamer for the last few years and have just decided to start saving up money for a decent gaming pc build (got a good summer job going after this year of college). I have made a mockup list on pcpartpicker (http://pcpartpicker.com/user/mrhowes/saved/479k) and wanted to know what you guys think of it. Heres where I need help: I would like it to cost a little less than it does without sacrificing much of the performance that it has. I would also like it to go wireless. Really kinda sucks that its my first build so I don't have an OS or monitor laying around anywhere or really anything that I could use on it to help me save money. Thanks for any and all help received and please no negativity.
How much do you want to spend? Also does your school have a classifieds/classified Facebook page? Mine does I got some peripherals that were in good shape. Might be worth taking a look.
When I built my computer I too wanted more performance. I had to buy peripherals as well, I found that I should have bought better hardware and just waited a little while to buy everything else. I know this may be difficult for you to do because you have nothing to save yourself money but maybe you could borrow some from someone temporarily. Just food for thought.
I'm looking to spend between 600 and 800 dollars on the rig (OS included). I think I could borrow a monitor from someone for a short time. My school is too small for something like that lol. I have some decent peripherals already (minus a keyboard but I also think I could borrow one of those).
