The cable in my usb headset busted, and I was wondering about soldering it. How would I go about that.

What headset is it?
Where did it break?
Assuming it's USB 2.0 it's just 4 wires. Find a new USB plug with leads or one of those DIY shells, match colors to pins, and have at it.
The most important question is where it broke not how to fix it. If the USB plug itself broke you'll need a new USB port and shrink wrap.
So it is broke somewhere inside the cable I don't know where. May I ask what colors are used (I am partially color blind so this question is important). My headset is the CAD u2. My dad has a soldering iron so I will probably borrow his.
