What does it taste like? I've never had a squash before.

It tastes great, kind of like a pumpkin but sweeter. It has a distinct taste it is hard to compare to other food. I used more butter in mine. I live in western New York and maple syrup farms are everywhere, so i used "Big Tree Maple Syrup". Not the store bought stuff.
I've never had squash before either, does it taste anything like swede?
Sounds nice. I'll have to pick some squash up at the store and try some..
