My Revised Build £800ish

I posted about two months ago and got some responses for a potential build for playing games on ultra, specifically open world games on 1080p.

I researched the parts and looked at their alternatives and saw their prices/benchmarks and etc.

My original build was proposed by DrunkenPanda (thanks for taking your time) -

And after all my research and etc I came up with - http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/3tXRd I have bought two parts of the build SSD & RAM due to the price being cheap

  • I picked 8320 due it being good for value. Also I decided against 8350 because I can overclock 8320 to 8350. Would this be okay for Watch Dogs on the new released requirements for Ultra?
  • > http://www.inferse.com/14471/watch-dogs-jonathan-confirms-ultra-specifications-pc/ - Watch Dogs Specs stating 8350 is recommended
  • I stuck with the cooler
  • I picked Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0 because from what I have gathered it is good for OC'ing
  • I bought the Kingston ram because it was cheap
  • I bought the SSD for 79.99 and it's a larger size than the previous one which was suggested.
  • I picked the R9 290 Tri-X because it seems to be one of the best versions of the series, and it was below 350.
  • I chose the case because I want to see the pretty build
  • PSU is obvious.

My questions are as follow, will the 8320 be sufficient for Watch Dogs if I OC it to a 8350. I will be hoping to do this anyway because if I can save money and get it to that level it's worth it. I don't want to over do it. I just want the same speeds/settings as 8350 is possible. Nothing crazy or unstable.

Is the M5A99FX Pro better than the GA-990FXA-UD3 Rev 4.0? I really like the on/off charge feature. HOWEVER I also like the fast boot up on the M5A99FX. But if isn't worth it overall I would be fine with that. I want what is best for the rest of the system, so that would be CPU and GPU.

And finally, is everything compatible? I know I will have to remove the trays to fit the GPU in due to it's size but rest I think is ok. If there is any mistake or a problem let me know :D

FX-8320 is an underclocked FX-8350, which was probably binned lower.

Damn thats some good priced RAM, especially at those speeds.

Everything looks good.  If you plan on overclocking, I would prefer that you get a higher wattage PSU as I don't like having the PSU maxed out during gaming.

The Asus M5a99FX Pro has digital VRMs for easier and more precise overclocking.  Otherwise, they're pretty similar.  I think that with an SSD, it doesn't really matter about bootup times.  Many gigabyte 990fx motherboard have had problems in the past, and the Asus M5A99FX Pro has been pretty solid throughout its release cycle.  I would personally go with the Asus.

What do you mean by binned lower?

And yeah, I'm look into a better PSU. And thanks for the feedback! :)

Each piece of silicon that is created is unique.  Some will run better than others, and vice versa.  This is the reason why when people overclock, some people can get crazy good speeds, while others experience instability at a mere couple hundred megahertz higher than stock.  The FX-8320 is often a lesser-performing FX-8350.  The FX-line is known for great overclocking capabilities, though.  FX-8320 can easily overclock to FX-8350 speeds.
