My RAT 5 died yesterday, right and left click seem to work but the sensor doesnt. (Tried it on a couple of machines) 'Tis a shame it was only a year and a half old.
Anyway have people had issues with this mouse?
What recommendations would you have for a new one? I have been looking at the M65 from corsair, it seems to have decent reviews.
Thanks
The M65 has a funky sensor. It's a good shape, good materials. I was particularly sensitive to the acceleration on the M65, so I replaced the mouse. I cannot tell you whether you will notice the acceleration, but you would do well to pick a mouse that doesn't have inherent problems.
What's your budget?
I use a Mionix NAOS 8200... great mouse, but very right handed (the AVIOR is the ambidextrous version)... Razer DeathAdder is another personal favorite....

It's the one I currently use at the moment, and 7 months worth of ownership. Good quality build, and I'd give the ergonomics an excellent rating if it weren't for the fact that I have small hands (I'm one of those people that thinks the Dual Shock 3 controller is just the perfect size).
Cool I'll have a look. I would probably say £65 max
Razer Ouroboros if it fits in your price bracket - awesome mouse
ended up getting the M65 yesterday, the maplin across from where I work had one so I thought 'what the hey' I personally really like it so all is well :]
Thanks
Booooooo.
It is the best constructed mouse I have used to date. I just dislike the sensor, but I quickly learnt that I have an optical-bias.
Go pwn some n00bs, son!
this mouse looks identical to my wich is a Sharkoon m51 so maybe is just another copy paste to Anker 5000
Please read the date. Almost 2 years since the last post...
