Thoughts on a graphics card as I will need to save for one. Post suggestions for cards as I will be playing bf3 on a single 1920 by 1080 trying to achieve high fps playing on lowest settings. Also forgot to mention any recommendations for a cpu cooler would like to reach 4.5ghz + on my i7 2700k.

As mentioned by Logan the 7870 is the sweet spot at the moment. I have the 6870 and it rocks, so i can say the 7870 is a worth looking into.

Ive been looking into the 7870 ive heard bf3 runs better on the nivdea cards.

Im a AMD user, so for some good Nividia recommendations ill leave that to another member. XD

I have a 660 ti, but at the 7870s price point vs the 660 I have to go with AMD cause you can overclock the snot out of 7870s, especially ones with good after market coolers (e.g. the MSI Twin Frozr, of Gigabyte Windforce cards)

what's your budget and did you already get that cpu?

I believe he already owns the i7. For the GPU the HIS IceQ and the Asus DC2 coolers have the best thermals and lowest noise of the bunch.
