zalman z9 plus case

msi z77 g45 motherboard

windows 7

corsair tx650

gtx660/gt545 in sli. im not sure which one to use yet.

This is all of the stuff i have so far ^ i still need a cpu cooler, a better graphics card, and a hard drive.

i've been looking at the cooler master hyper 212 evo, a 1tb western digital black drive, and one gtx 660. and in a few months i'll grab another. i don't have that much money to throw at a graphics card right away.

WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?

get a 7870 or 7950 over a 660ti, costs less and outperforms it

also a Seagate barracuda 2 or 3tb 7200.14 (7200.11 less reliable) which will outperform the WD black

For the cooler get the NZXT Havik 140 if you can. It is whisper quiet and keeps my i5 2500k @ 4.5 GHz at 40 degrees at load

I would personally grab the caviar black drive and the GTX 660, then I would save some money for a better cooler for overclocking. The Hyper 212 will be fine for low level overclocks, but there are much better coolers out there. The Cooler Master V6 GT often goes on sale for around $40, and it's only a few degrees warmer than a Noctua NH-D14. Other coolers to look out for are the Cooler Master TPC 812, Noctua NH-D14, Phanteks PH-TC14PE, Thermalrite Silver Arrow, and Corsair H100i. I've heard good things about the NZXT Havik 140 as well.

Actually, go for a Radeon HD 7870 instead of the GTX 660. It's around the same price and it will outperform it. I would suggest this one:

7870 GHz edition or 7950 would be my personal preference

i dont think im in the market for an h100i, but i couldnt definitly spend more than 30$, or whatever the 212 evo costs. and ive only ever owned nvidia cards but i would switch if there was an amd card that clearly outperforms the nvidia at the same price point.
