My network slows down after DD-WRT flashing?

Hey guys,

I'd just flash my old router Dlink DIR-300 to DD-WRT firmware. I noticed that my internet speed become slower. Although there really was alot of new feature I can thinker now.

Any thoughts of why this happened? or maybe I'm missing some configuration?

Thanks,

Cons of this Hardware...

As it is Ralink chipset based, support by DD-WRT is still limited in terms of firmware builds availability.....

By the sounds of things, although it will run on the device it is not optimised or ideal for it.

How are you connecting with the device? Wired or wireless?

It's wired, also it's an Atheros based Chip,. Also my DIR-300 is Ver. A1, not the B1.
