New Zealand pricing is scary compared to US pricing :-)

well yeah those NZ prices my god haha.
anyway your build looks very decent to me. the Psu is a bit overkill, 650W would be more then enough for a single gpu setup. With your build even a decent 550W would do.
Maybe you could spend that littlebit extra you save, on a better gpu if you prefer. like a GTX770
Grtz Angel ☺
I was looking at the 650w so might change it, The GXT 770 is about $170 more is it worth it ?
For gaming on the long run i would say yes. ☺
also for your lightroom it would be a huge performance bump.
I was a Nvidia user back in the early days, So moving to AMD would be fine.
Yeah well lightroom 5 is an adobe product, and adobe favours Nvidia´s cuda cores mostly. (as far as my knowledge goes)
So stay with Nvidia would probably be the best option.
Asus R9 270X DirectCU II TOP Super Overclocked 2GB ........ ?
No a 270X is just a 7870GHZ with a new sticker on it.. the GTX760, performs slightly better then a 270X, and a GTX770, will blow it out of the water.
Just hfound this in the lightroom forum so can go for ether.......
Lightroom does not make use of the power of GPU cards
