My love of Teknology and cows, together

I'm from a dairy farm in Ontario, Canada. Last February we installed a pair of Lely Astronaut a4 robots to milk our cows (erhmahgerd they took er jerbs) I know that Logan is passionate about food and eating(and he's spoken out against Monsanto a few times, but that's a different topic ((That I am willing to discuss if people want to))) , and I wanted to show you guys a bit of what goes on behind the scenes, and how technology has changed over the years to make everyones lives (especially the cows) better.

so to start off, here's a few panoramas of inside the barn. CAUTION: PIXELS

I took several pictures with my camera and stitched them together with Hugin, which is an amazing photo manipulation system. Its also free and open source.

Wow, the post editor has really become laggy with this many pixels in it. But hiding the preview helped immensely.

Ask any questions you've got! I've got hundreds of photos, I'll be posting an imgur album in the following days.
Cheers!

That second picture is 100% ghost cow confirmed.

On a more serious note, how many cows do you have at the farm?

approx 110 adult (greater than 2 years old) + 40~ish young stock. (calves from 1 day old until 2 yrs)

I was trying to remember where i read the fact that the dairy cows kind of like the automated system ( once they get use to it ) because at anytime their udders get full enough to make them uncomfortable they can just go get milked. :)
