So... I was curious what you are all bringing. I was worried about dragging my home system to the event and getting messed up. I figure I could add new parts to left overs from upgrades done in the past. An old GTX 670, a 1TB drive from a laptop that I slapped an SSD in. Add some sale parts like the Corsair 380T that I was eyeing for my girlfriends computer I built her last year. Her system ended up going in a EVGA Hadron Air. $35 Gskill Memory. I have always built with Intel chip systems like the i5 3570K and G3258. I wanted to give the Red team a try with the Athlon X4 860K. I'm gonna try to overclock the snot out of it and see how well it keeps up with a 3 year old GTX 670. What do you guys think?
I am so excited for the LAN party, this build is helping me pass the time until April. I would really like any feedback you all have and maybe say what you are bringing to the event.
