My Gaming PC Configuration: What Do You Think?

Hello everyone!

I been planning on building my own gaming PC for quite awhile now. Before I buy all the parts, however, I need some input on how the configuration looks. Here are the specs I've in mind:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor

CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler

Motherboard: ASRock Fatal1ty H97 Killer ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3-1066 Memory

Storage: Kingston KC300 120GB 2.5” Solid State Drive & Western Digital Caviar Black 2TB 3.5” 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB FTW ACX 2.0 Video Card

Case: Corsair 450D ATX Mid Tower Case

Power Supply: Antec TruePower Classic 750W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply

Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (OEM) (64-bit)

Wireless Network Adapter: Asus PCE-AC68 802.11a/b/g/n/ac PCI-Express x1 Wi-Fi Adapter

Total Price: $1,516

Thanks in advance!

Looks alright, for the most part.  Some things to note:

Overkill cooler with a locked CPU part and a non-overclocking motherboard.  The stock Intel cooler would work just fine.

Network adapter is also very expensive - grab the Intel 7260 or 7265 for around $50.

SSD's Sandforce controller is apparently getting slow in today's day and age.  I'm not too familiar with this SSD, but after skimming reviews I suggest you might want to look at a different one.
