Looking to finally build my new gaming PC. I have been gaming on an HP with a 630m for the last year. Been terrible... but anyway...
Finally get to spend some money on a proper gaming machine. Just was interested if I could get some input from the forum on the hardware.
Thanks in advance.

I made a few changes:
I changed the motherboard to an Asus M5A99FX EVO. It is a newer chipset and has better power delivery and reliability. You'll be able to OC as well on this board NP.
Changed out the CPU cooler. The Hyper 212 Evo is better and worth the extra money.
Grabbed cheaper RAM.
Changed the HDD out for a 1TB WD Caviar Blue. I have had bad luck with Seagate drives and in my experience the reliability of drives over 1TB is meh. But if you want you can grab a 2TB WD.
Changed the 280X. The sapphire is very highly rated and a bit cheaper.
The PSU. I don't have much experience with CM PSUs and that one is a very good deal so I left it.
I ditched the optical drive. You don't need one. (Unless you do but really?)
You prob don't need the case fans either.
Great change by DerKrieger, but please switch out the cooler master case. I have that one at the moment and I am NOT pleased.
I totally agree but he should switch the ram out, its a bare green pcb with no heatsink, ew
It looks meh but it is cheap. You don't need a heatsink anyway. There are some nicer ones though for a similar price if you want.
I think he already purchased the case so i didn't change it.
Silent Pro M2s are alright quality. It should be ok.

The picture is wrong on pcpartpicker, or something.
Already bought the case. It was only $30. I am thinking about dropping the BRD as well... I was reading about the 2tb failure rate, and it does seem a bit high. I do like the $/GB of the 2TB drive though. I think I will probably spend the little extra and have some nice looking ram.
The Hyper 212 will probably be better for OCing.
What is the difference with the chipset on the mobo, is it just for better OCing, what justifies the extra $40 in your opinion?
Aayze, why don't you like the case?
