Hello!

I'm planning to build a PC for almost everything(Gaming, programming, modeling, video/photo editing etc). I am going to list some parts here and I would like to know, if there are some parts, that I could switch out. That should be good enough for editing and gaming.

 

CPU: i5 4670K (Not going to overclock yet)

GPU: GTX 970 Gigabyte 4GB

MOBO: Gigabyte GA-Z78X-D3H

SSD: Samsung EVO 840 250GB (For OS and other main programs)

HDD: WD Blue 1TB (Going to salvage this from old PC)

RAM: Crucial 2x4GB 1600Mhz (Going to salvage this from old PC)

PSU: Corsair Builder CX600M Bronze

everything looks alright but you might want some more ram for the editing stuff that you'll do.

Right now I'll keep 8GB of RAM, because I haven't passed more than 7GB while editing. That's, why I also chose MOBO with 4 slots, so It will be easier to upgrade to 16GB.
