My first time buying a phone

Hey you guys, I wanted to ask you guys if you knew anything about phones, because I'm completely new to it. I got an email from dealzon, and one of the deals was this motorola luge prepaid phone, so I bought it and then I started browsing the web for some cases because I didn't want it to break from falling, but to break because it stopped a bullet piercing my heart, and as I was looking through the web. I looked up how much it cost to continue to receive service and their was a few videos that popped up some about straight talk; and I was wondering if I were to be able to use other sim cards on it, or how does it work? because I have new clue. I just want a phone, and I thought that the moto luge looked good to me, don't you think? Anyways I would appreciate the tips on these kind of things.

this is the phone that I bought.

Though Verizon phones have SIM cards, they are for 4G LTE so you are going to either have to get your service directly from Verizon or simple purchase the pre-paid cards. The cards usually have directions on them if its your first time activating a prepaid phone.

You can actually use Verizon straight talk. Check this website and follow its instructions and check if your phone can work

Unlocked AT&T and T-mobile phones work on straight talk as well.

I have ST and am totally happy with it. I even get 4g in semi-rural areas. Good value despite the upfront cost for the phone.

Oh and by the way, you can look up whether that phone is compatible by using there website or calling.

Verizon has CDMA 4G and GSM 3G. If its unlocked (Probably is) then you can go on at&t or T-mobile and use there 3G. Currently my one plus one is in repair and I'm using a Verizon iPhone on t-mobile as a replacement. I can get about 11mb down and 2mb up on T-mobile's 3g. If your not on the internet constantly, then that's plenty.
