My First PC Build

Hi, I want to build a new gaming pc. A friend of mine has picked parts on PC part picker and I was just wondering if anyone else has some good sugestions for optimizing the performance for a cheap price.

The games I was looking at playing are Skyrim, Portal, Borderlands 2 and Mirrors Edge at high graphics. I have a flatscreen 32" TV but i was wondering if I should invest in a monitor.

( There is a compatibility note saying there is a USB 3.0 header on the motherboard but not on the case)

Ditch the Windows 7 and obtain it from Computeruser on the yarrr-bay. Get a PSU with more watts instead. Like 750W or something, 620 is a bit shy, especially when you're planning on overclocking.

But, if you want a legal copy, this setup will do.

So, who's this friend?

Why u Stalking me man

Also how much of a difference does overclocking make. Is it worth it?

Here is another build you might be interested in, better GPU, better PSU, Better MoBo, CPU cooler for overclocking, another 1tb hard space with the hard drive, an i5 instead of the i7 but you can add that in for the same price.

maybe take a look at the xfx pro 850 watt power supply, it is good priced.

FancyGB and I are in Australia (same school), and that system costs around $1400, but I'll reccomend the Seasonics. Getting one for my build!

If you want to take the AMD route this is my recommendation. I was able to add a Monitor which I recommend playing compared to and HDTV, but the total is $1300 with the monitor and $1105 with out it.
