Hello guys. I'm new here :D. Um... I've been thinking of making a new computer with a budget of $1700 for video editing/gaming/all around purposes. I'm confused on which one is better, Ivy Bridge, or Haswell. I heard from places that Ivy Bridge overclocks better or something, and that haswell doesn't but that it has new instruction sets, etc. etc.. I was also thinking of getting the 3930k or the new ivy-e because I'm not going to upgrade my computer for 4-5 years, and I want something that would last. I would like your opinions of which one is better to buy. Also, how is the gtx 760? I looked at videos/forums, and it said that it was a good card for the price. Finally, I have a list of parts I wish to get(no hate please, just explain why certain parts are bad/not useful/you could get something better). A lot of the parts are limited because I wish to get them from microcenter.
