My first pc build and i need help

I would like to play games on really high settings. Please suggest parts that i can swap for the ones i have in this build that will keeps the performance the same and can you suggest monitors, mice, keyboards, headset.

I would like to keep the budget at about $1500.

the build is good, but you would get more performance out of an FX 8350 over that version of the i5. also look into win7 over 8. windows 7 is better overall for plug and play type games without having to fiddle with all the settings to get windows working and looking the way it always should be. and if you wanted to run max settings in most games go for a 780 SC. it would keep the price around the same overall with maybe +50$

if you ARE going with that CPU, here's a build with $178 shaved off, no performance loss at all, and an extra 4GB of memory...

Do you want an AMD option? or would you rather have a 4670k build at your same price range?

I think the 780 is pretty unnecessary, and I own one... a really good one :P... a 770's all you'll need at 1080p... unless you're running multiple monitors

This rig will run games on high settings, my friend get solid 50-60fps on Battlefield 4 at high/ultra with his 770, and hes running a FX-6300 AMD 6-core processor @4.1ghz. So this rig will be able to outdo that.

The only thing I can recommend would be to go for an AMD processor based system as it would be cheaper, and to upgrade from 1333mhz to 1600mhz ram (But I doubt this would make a noticeable difference.). If you saved some cash on making this an AMD based system you could grab a better monitor, like a 1440p or 144hrz monitor, as this would actually cause there to be a noticeable difference.

For 1500$ including peripherals, this would be a beast setup that could run games with 1080p high/ultra settings no problem.

Hope I helped :)

Pretty good.  I tried to get it under budget.
