MY first PC build £500 ($800) any recomendations?/advise?

It's the holiday season and i have just sold my console and saved up too buy a gaming computer! i have been looking for many hours and have come up with a parts list. 

I would like to know if this build is good for gaming, and the monitor is necisery because i need it to go along with my current one since i am a graphic deisgner.

Any help/recomandations and advice would be greatly apreciated.

Looks solid Play dead, it will definitely be a step up from that console for sure!
