So today I decided I would give overclocking a go for the first time ever. Here's the first stable configuration I got. I'm currently stress testing it in prime95. http://gyazo.com/c945ade22a97b3b58594e559da755e6d
Also, I'm using an Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 Board
how's that running? also, i was wondering if u can go into benchmark testings because im also curious about it
One of the cores stopped working after 15 minutes in prime95 so I dropped the multiplier by .5 (down 4300MHz instead of 4400) and went up on the CPU voltage from 1.4 to around 1.42, and it made it through a half hour of prime95 without any errors. I'm gonna run a stress test overnight and then do some benchmarking tomorrow. I'll post what I get here! I also may go for 4.5GHz and see what kind of temps I'll be working with.

What cooler are you using?
Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo. http://gyazo.com/2e6b99a14eaff091b0218d8d5ac8857f It's running completely stable now and went through a 9 hour prime95 test with no errors. I'm NOT satisfied with the clock speed I was able to get with the voltage this high though.

How were you able to keep the voltage so low?
