My First Computer Build

I'm looking to build a PC under $1300. I already have a Mouse, Keyboard, and a monitor. Here's the parts I picked out;

MSI Z87-G45 Gaming LGA 1150 Intel Z87 - 144.99 (Newegg)

Intel Core I5 4570 - 199.99 (newegg)

Xigmatek Dark knight 2 night hawk - 49.99 (newegg)

ASUS GTX680 2GB - 389.99 (Newegg)

Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3 1866 Mhz - 79.99 (newegg)

2 TB seagate barracuda  - 99.99 (newegg)

Corsair RM650 ATX 12V v2.31 80 plus gold certified full modular PSU - 119.99 (newegg)

Corsair Vengeance C70 mid-tower - 109.99 (newegg)

Copy of windows 7 - 99.99 (newegg)

I want a computer that will last me a while for gaming on at least high settings. It won't be used for video editing. I'm nervous about all the parts fitting and working together properly. I had a buddy who built a computer recently help me figure it out and he said it SHOULD work, but we're double checking.

Thank you for your assistance

looks good

The only thing i see is, if you arent buying an unlocked processor (i5 4670k), then i dont know if you need the z87 chip set, and without that chipset you might be able to save some money there.

I helped him pick out all the parts. Where you thinking like a 3570k or a 3770k? Maybe with the z77 flavor of motherboard.
