My first computer build - hows it look?

Alright. Hello all in teksyndicate! Im dex and im new here and new to building a pc from scratch. Ive read a lot of other topics and this seems like a helpful community. So bear with me and im sorry if i forget to include anything.

Basically, I am building a rendering/gaming PC. Mostly used for rendering, will do a bit of both for photoshop and videos but will mostly be rendering videos for special effects (so adobe after effects, maya, etc..) I currently live in Illinois (USA). I dont know much about overclocking, ive heard a lot of mixed things, but it can be good if you do it right. (right?) I am fine with a fan cooler atm. I do not need an OS, I use a flat screen tv as a monitor (32") and im good on keyboard, mouse, etc. My budget is 800-1000 dollars. So here was the build i was looking at:

Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor with MSI Z87-G45 Gaming ATX LGA1150 Motherboard (Combo deal. = 466.98)

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler = 29.99

Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory = 74.08

Samsung 840 Series 120GB 2.5" Solid State Disk = 89.99

Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive = 59.98

Corsair 300R ATX Mid Tower Case = 57.99

NOW HERES THE TRICKY PART.

I suck with this whole power supply calculation thing (how much you need, etc) soooo...
I was going to get this power supply:

Corsair CX 600W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V Power Supply for 49.99 and it was 600w because i was going to get the EVGA GeForce GTX 760 2GB Video Card after a few months (249.99).

Should i continue on with the 600w? or with that just ruin my computer.
(i will also be getting a cd/dvd writer later)

Everything with the 600w power supply and no video card/dvd writer will come out to 829.
After i get the video card/ dvd writer it will come out to roughly 1100. i can make that in a month or so, but for now 829 sounds golden.

Sorry if this is all scattered but thankyou for taking the time to read this. How does it sound? Should i carry on or should i just keep saving until i get enough money to buy it in one full sweep. Thankyou!

you should probably go with a bit more headroom, something along the lines of a 700w or 750w, its always good to have power that you wont be using than no power at all.selection of parts is good and if you feel like it look at equivalent power amd cards and you can save a buck. or wait untill they release their new line of cards (september 25th?) That is advice coming from an nvidia user, that is how much im considdering switching.

600watts is easily enough

I would probably change the SSD to Kingston hyperx or Sandisk extreme. They are a bit faster and in the same pricerange.

If youre render ing your cpu would probably do better with faster ram.

Don't get the vengeance RAM. I had that, but I had to sell it because NO CPU-heatsink fits over it. (not even the Hyper 212 evo.)
